It is important to review your Credit Bureau Report issued by all three Credit Bureau Services. Information contained in the Online Credit Report issued by one Credit Rating Bureau may not be reflected on the Credit History Report issued by the other Credit Bureaus. So, your Credit Report may be giving you only a piece of your entire credit profile.
For example, you may have taken advantage of today’s historically low borrowing rates to refinance your home mortgage. You order a Personal Credit Report from Experian or one of the other Credit Report Services, and see that the report accurately reflects the pay-off of your old mortgage. However, unknown to you, your Experian and TransUnion Credit Reports may still show the old mortgage as outstanding. So, when you apply for a credit card or car loan, the credit check run by the card company or car dealer shows two mortgages. Your loan application is rejected.
Unfortunately, when we apply for an auto loan or other extension of credit, we do not know which of the three credit reporting services is used by that auto dealership, credit card company or other lender to check your credit report.
We recommend that before you order an online credit report from any of the free credit report television ads or online advertisements, you make sure that you are getting a 3 in 1 Credit Report or Triple Credit Report, and a 3 Bureau Credit Report Score, from all three Credit Reporting Agencies. Checking all 3 Credit Reports will give you the most accurate information about your entire credit profile, and allow you to fix errors in your credit report before you are denied a loan or are required to pay a higher interest rate for a credit product.
Many consumers are pleased with the Three in One Credit Report issued by FreeScore360, which gives you the Credit Bureau Report and Credit Report Score issued by each of the three Credit Bureau Reporting Services – Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. Here is the link to their site:
